Getting Over Monday Blues.




I generally hate Mondays, who doesn't? I fall sick on Sunday evening just thinking about Mr Monday. 5am my worst time of the day, stumbling around while i try to wake, yawing profusing, none of these things are fun to me.
In between sleep on Sunday night makes feel like death on Monday morning. Everything just seem harder on Monday. If you have ever felt this way on Monday, then you will understand what i mean or even more. It is called "The Monday Blues", it is characterized by a set of emotions people feel at the beginning of a work week if they are not happy at work. “It contains elements of depression, tiredness, hopelessness, and a sense that work is unpleasant but unavoidable.” Study has shown that an average person doesn't smile on Monday till 11:45 am.

HOW TO GET THROUGH THE MONDAY.

1) Make a conscious list of things that you are excited about.
2) Plan fun activities with your colleagues that you will look forward too at the end of the day.
3) Wear a new out fit that ill make people gush about you all day and make you feel good about yourself.
4) Make a playlist of your favourite songs and play it all through out the day.
5) Get out of the  building and get a long walk during lunch.
6)At work think about how great Monday night TV shows are; for example "Dancing with the stars", "How i met your mother" "Football games" if you are that sort of persons.
8. Think of how much awesome TV is on Monday nights. 7) Work on getting a promotion at work
8) Just do as i would do, "take a long nap".
